Dr. Nasir Ahmad Shah is Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the Department of Philosophy, University of Kashmir, Srinagar. He did M.A. and Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India and has been awarded for Post-Doctoral Fellowship by Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New Delhi (ICPR-PDF) in collaboration with department of Religious Studies, Central University of Kashmir, Ganderbal. He taught UG Courses like; Islamic Philosophy, Political Philosophy and Classical Indian Philosophy at Islamic University of Science and Technology, (IUST) Awantipora. He also taught courses like; Applied Ethics and Indian Ethics at Govt. College for Women, Cluster University, M.A Road Srinagar. He was one of the members of the commette to made syllabi of 35 papers which include; Core, DCE and Open Electives for newly established P.G. Department at IUST, Awantipora. He has been awarded ICPR-JRF (Indian Council of Philosophical Research – Junior Research Fellowship) during his Ph. D. Programm.
Apart from that he is highly motivated, hard-working and passionate teacher with 3+years of teaching and research experience. Having specialization in Islamic, Indian and Comparative Philosophy. Proven ability to lead in teaching and research effectively, and deliver projects on time and within scope. Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with teachers and administrators to create learning opportunities for the students.
